Ba’adweyn Women Center

The center was constructed between 2004-2005 with the support of UNHCR to provide non-formal second chance and adult literacy education to poor pastoral rural women and girls in the area. The center comprises of 4 classrooms, an office room, 3 latrines and a store in a secured compound with perimeter wall fencing.  Prior to the center, there were no learning opportunities for women and girls in the village. Programs offered at the Center include Integrated Literacy and Numeracy and Skills Training for Women.
